Notes about Petrus (Pieter) Janze de Graaf

Aangezien er voortdurend patroniemen gebruikt worden in de diverse acte's ga ik er van uit dat de vader van Petrus, Jan/Johannes heet. Deze gedachte wordt versterkt omdat Petrus zijn eerste kinderen naar Johannes (Jan) vernoemd. Dit vernoemen van de kinderen naar de grootouders was zéér gebruikelijk om te doen. Verder zoekend op Jan kom ik in BHIC alleen Joannes de Graaf uit Waalre tegen die in aanmerking komt. Deze Jan geeft zijn zoon Petrus aan als geboren op 22-11-1780. Dit is zéér waarschijnlijk "onze" Petrus en "onze" Jan. Niet waterdicht bewezen dus.
