Izaak Grobfeld is geboren op 31-12-1862 in Emmen. Hij was gehuwd met Hendel Johanna Cohen. Zij was geboren op 03-01-1867 in Aurich (Dld). Beiden zijn omgekomen in concentratiekamp Birkenau in Auschwitz op 23-11-1942. De broer van mijn oma, Carolus Hillebrink (geb. Groningen 22-11-1893, kommies belastingen) was 02-02-1921 te Vlagtwedde gehuwd met Carolina Grobfeld (geb. 23-10-1894 te Emmen). Voor zover ik weet zijn de broers en zus van mijn tante (Rosette, Adolf, Meijer, Jacob, Philip en Frederik) allemaal omgekomen in Auschwitz en Sobibor.
