Mijn opa heet Godert Willem omdat hij een onecht kind was van Baron de Vos van Steenwijk. Deze was in die tijd burgemeester van Beilen en zijn moeder was daar dienstmeisje. Deze twee kregen wat achter de rug van zijn vrouw om. Deze kwam daar achter met tot gevolg dat zij moest verdwijnen maar zij was zwanger. Er is toen een man voor haar gezocht met de achternaam Kalsbeek. Dus kort gezegd, mijn opa was een "baron de Vos van Steenwijk", maar niet erkend. Dit is wat ik weet van mijn moeder. Ik ben vernoemd naar mijn opa dus ik ben ook een klein beetje een baron...
