In het jaar achttien honderd zeven en negentig, den eersten Mei verscheen voor mij Ambtenaar van den Burgelijken Stand der gemeente Beilen, provincie Drenthe, in het openbaar ten gemeentehuize aldaar,
KLAAS SCHOLTE oud twee en twintig jaren, dienstknecht, geboren en wonende alhier, minderjarige zoon van Derk Scholte, timmerman en van Jantje Koerts, zonder beroep, beiden wonende alhier, en
GEESJE BRUNSTING oud negentientien jaren, zonder beroep, geboren en wonende alhier, minderjarige dochter van Jan Brunsting en van Aaltje Dolfing, landbouwers, beiden wonende alhier. De wederzijdsche ouders, hierbij tegenwoordig, verklaren toestemming te geven tot dit huwelijk,
welke mij verzochten, om tot de voltrekking van hun voorgenomen huwelijk over te gaan, waarvan de openbare aankondigingen alhier zijn gedaan op Zondagen den achttienden en den vijf en twintigsten Aprili jongstleden. Geen verzet tegen voorschreven huwelijk mij bekend zijnde, zo is het dat ik, voldoende aan hun verzoek, hun heb gevraagd of zij elkander alsoo voor man en vrouw aannemen en getrouwelijk de pligten zullen vervullen, welke door de wet aan den Huwelijken Staat zijn verbonden, welke vraag door hen toestemmend beantwoord zijnde, zoo verklaar ik in naam der wet, dat KLAAS SCHOLTE en GEESJE BRUNSTING door den echt aan elkander zijn verbonden.
Gedaan in tegenwoordigheid van Meerten Seubring, oud vier en dertig jaren, bakker, Jan Mulder, oud zes en dertig jaren, veldwachter, Pieter Tonkens, oud vijftig jaren en Jan Brunsting oud vier en zestig jaren, landbouwers, allen wonende alhier; die deze akte, na voorlezing, hebben geteekend met ons en de comparanten.
