Funeral services for Dr. Paul Hartendorp were Friday in Fairmount Chapel. Entombment was in Fairmount Mausoleum.
Hartendorp, who lived at 556 S. Franklin St. died Wed in Valley Manor Nursing Home. HE was 82.
He was born Feb 25 1896, in Haarlem, the Netherlands, and was educated in Denver. He was gratuated from Creighton Medical School.
Hartendorp came to Denver in 1928 and married Mildred Walker on Sep 11, 1929, in Denver
He wa a doctor in the Denver area for 50 years until his retirement in 1964.
Hartendorp was a member ot the AMA, the Co. Med. Assoc and was the first medical director for the State Dept of Welfare.
He was a member of Harmony Lodge 61, Colorado Consistory 1, Colorado State Centennial craftsmen and 47 Club.
Surviving, in addition to his wife are two daughters, Norma Hatfield of Califronia and Diann Kropp of Denver; two sisters, Agnes Huff of Denver and Diena Wilson of CA; and four grandchildren.
