Cornelia Johanna had een dochter Gonda (Allegonda). Deze dochter was getrouwd met ene Buitenhuis, die lid was van de Nationaal Socialistische Beweging (NSB). Een politieke partij (leider Anton Mussert) die zeer Duits georiënteerd was. Met Gonda Buitenhuis en haar man is daardoor gedurende vele jaren elk contact verbroken geweest. Eerst ver na de Tweede Wereldoorlog, toen haar man was overleden, werd het contact hersteld.
