Notes about Jacobus "Jacob" de Vries

Herwen en Aerdt vielen onder de Classis van Nijmegen.
Vanwege het wegspoelen van de dorpskern werd de kerk te Herwen in 1765 afgebroken en een nieuw dorp Herwen gesticht. Vanaf 25 augustus 1765 werd de kerk te Aerdt voor beide kerkelijke gemeenten gebruikt.
