The Auschwitz-Birkenau Death Books give Aug. 21, 1942 as date of death. The Dutch War Victims Authority (In Memoriam - Nederlandse oorlogslachtoffers, Nederlandse Oorlogsgravenstichting) in The Hague gives Sep.30, 1942.

Alexander Koster was de jongste zoon van Abraham Salomon Koster. Hij was de enige zoon van Abraham Koster en Keetje Cohen de Solla. Alexander Koster stond aan het begin van de oorlog ingeschreven als student wiskunde aan de Technische Hogeschool in Delft.
