etty Retel Helmrich dd 7 aug. 2019: Er wonen nog een aantal van Schuylenburchs in Indonesië. Het zijn nazaten van de kinderen van Hilaire van Schuijlenburch die nogal wat kinderen had bij een inlandse vrouw waar hij niet mee getrouwd was. Hij heeft alle kinderen wel erkend. Twee van hen wonen in Nederland. Dat zijn Luciënne in Schiedam en Ilona in Zaandam. Ik zie ze wel eens op mijn filmvertonngen. Een aantal van hun broers zijn in Indonesië gebleven en volledig verindonesiest. Een aantal jaren geleden is een achterkleinkind van Hilaire van Schuijlenburch hier in Nederland geweest. Dat was Rocky. Hij noemt zich wel van Schuijleburch terwijl de naam van Schuijleburch door de Indonesische overheid werd veranderd in “van S” of “van Es” Dit omdat de Europese namen niet meer wenselijk waren. Veel Indische Nederlanders hebben toen een Indonesische familienaam aangenomen.
