Wellicht was haar roepnaam Agnes, dat maak ik op uit de tekst op de grafsteen van haar eerste echtgenoot Jean (Frans) in de begraafplaats in Buitenzorg (Radjagaloe), tegenwoordig Bogor. In dat graf ligt ook een familielid van de familie Speet: J.E. Speet (1811-1864).
