Op 23 jarige leeftijd hertrouwt ze na het overlijden van haar eerste echtgenoot met Hilbertus Verbeek. Ze krijgt nog 7 kinderen. Haar foto is niet zeker. gezien de positie van de foto in het album dat we van Coby Prins kregen, zou zij Grietje kunnen zijn. Alida Engelblijk-Dieperink schrijft over Grietje en Jan: Grietje is jong getrouwd met Jan v.d. Linde een rijke boerenzoon, die geen vader meer had en een moeder die hem niet aankon, die jongen deed niets, kon of wilde ook niet leren. \rEn zoals dat meer gaat in ’t leven, vooral als men nog geen 20 jaar is, en hij wist dat hij veel geld zou krijgen, daar de familie van zijn vader allen geen kinderen hadden, en hij dus de enige erfgenaam zou zijn, maar dat leven heeft niet lang geduurd. Zij hadden toen samen 2 dochters dat waren dan Nette en Johanna. De vader stierf heel jong en Grietje is daarna getrouwd met een Mijnheer Verbeek , zijn in Oldemarkt gaan wonen, kregen samen nogal veel kinderen.
