Hij was molenaar te Westkapelle. Hij pachtte de molen van 1 mei 1661 tot en met 30 april 1662 voor 76 pond met zijn vader Isaac als borg. Zo ook voor de jaren 1662/1663, 1663/1664 (voor 77 pond), 1664/1665 (voor 70 pond), 1665/1666 voor 68 pond, 1666/1667 voor 76 pond, 1667/1668 voor 61 pond en tussen 1 mei 1668 en 30 april 1669 voor 61 pond, maar hij is toen met zijn bedrijf gestopt, omdat Johannes Joos Sanders voor dezelfde tijd de molen pacht.
