    TIPTON-Henry Hake, 54, prominent grain dealer and president of the-Tipton Stale Bank, died about 10 30 pm Tuesday at his home following a heart attack.
    Mr. Hake had lived at Tipton all his life.
    He operated one of the biggest independent grain companies in the midwest area.
    He was the founder and head of the Hake Grain Company. Originally the firm made breakfast food and produced flour. Later, Mr. Hake became a grain dealer, although mill still ground some feed.
    He also had farming interests in Mitchell County.
    Mr. Hake was born March 15, 1900. He was a member of St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church.
    Surviving are the widow, Marie; four daughters, Mrs. Keith Joslyn, Wichita, Mrs. Bernard Eck, Tipton; Luella Hake, student at Marymount College, Salina, and Ella Jean Hake, of the home, and three sons; Clarence, Arthur and Norman, all of Tipton.
    Clarence and Arthur have been associated with their father in the grain business.
    The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Boniface Church, the Rev. Edger Weigle officiating. Burial will be in the Tipton cemetery.
    Friends may call at the home until the service.
