De vader van Harm  Berens kwam van Hüntel (Wesuwe). Deze familie had de huisnaam ‘Douzen’.  Hun eerste kind werd hier op 22-7-1870 geboren. Ze hebben aan de Schoolweg gewoond op plaats 32. Maria Gesina Schleper overleed hier op 6-2-1905.


    Harm Berens hertrouwde op 26-4-1906 te Emmen met Anna Maria Kollmer, toen weduwe Vedder, eerder wed. Brokmann .Harm Berens is op 13-3-1922 gestorven, Anna Maria Kollmer op 17-8-1923.
