Januari 1792. Alida van Starrenburg wordt opgebracht wegens gepleegde

bedelarij en brutaliteiten. Waarop de baljuw verzoekt haar te mogen

brengen in het gevangenhuis van Valkenburg om aldaar gespijzigd te

worden met roggebrood en schoon water. Hetgeen de wel geboren mannen

Jacob Spierenburg, Cornelis Berendrecht, Johannes van Egmond,

Maarten Houwer en Dirk Binnendijk genadiglijk toestaan. Voor de duur

van een nacht.
