Na overlijden van moeder, Helena Fredrika Theunis op 1 maart 1910 (nog geen 35 jaar oud) en het in de steek laten van het gezin door de vader samen met twee broers en twee zusters gezamenlijk ondergebracht op 11 juli 1910 in het gesticht op de Prinsengracht geplaatst.


Toen Everdina op 18 september 1911 vanuit de Inrichting voor Stadsbestedelingen aan de Prinsengracht 434 werd overgeplaatst naar de Herengracht 182 zijn haar twee jongere zusjes en haar twee broers tegelijk vanaf de Prinsengracht overgeplaatst naar het Gesticht de Voorzienigheid aan de Elandsstraat 34-36.  Zij zijn op daarvandaan dus op verschillende plekken ondergebracht. De jongste dochter Cornelia Levina Wilhelmina overlijdt op 11 jarige leeftijd.


 


In de meldingsrapporten van de politie Amsterdam 1940-1945 komt Ludovicus Jaobus de Vogel herhaaldelijk voor. Zie Bronnen.


 


Tijdens de hongerwinter in 1944 (WWII) duikt hij, kennelijk uit nood, op bij zijn oudste dochter Everdina Hendrika (Dien) (zie kwartier 7), die met een bakker gehuwd is en hem aan brood kan helpen. Daarna verdwijnt hij weer uit het gezichtsveld.


 


In 1919 door tussenkomst van een oom (welke ?) tewerkgesteld als dienstbode bij de familie Verboom in Delft. Op 11 april 1919 uit het Bevolkingsregister Amsterdam uitgeschreven naar Berend Verboom, Verwersdijk 114b te Delft.
