    Het TBCsanatorium was het vanaf 1920 als noodsanatorium met 290 bedden in 25 houten barakken rondom de villa Berg en Bosch aan de Hoog
    Soerenseweg te Apeldoorn gevestigd. Ter bestrijding van de tuberculose stichtte de RK vereniging Herwonnen Levenskracht in 1920 dit
    noodsanatorium, waarin patiënten door rust, goede voeding en gezonde buitenlucht konden herstellen.
    Door allerlei toestanden met de gemeente Apeldoorn m.b.t. de huisvesting van veel mensen op het terrein rond de oude villa, besloot de
    vereniging Herwonnen Levenskracht naar andere huisvesting te zoeken en verhuisde in 1933 naar Bilthoven.
