Erve Harmelink (Oalmensink), Dorpsstraat 73 thans Berning

(Hij verkocht rond 1883 de plaats aan Hendrikus Harmelink (1850-1929).

Bijgen. Smits getjan, de boeren hofste waar nu; of sedert 1883, Oude mensinkdieks op woont, aan de Almelosche Weg, bij Broen-hinn. Behoorde voordien tijd aan Smits getjan, het was een verwaarloosde plaats geworden. Een heel ouderwets boerenhuis stond langs de Weg, vlak tegenover waar nu Harmelink of Oude mensink Hein woont. Vroeger of voor dien Tijd was mijn Oom Jan (Jans) veele jaren bij Koopmans te Tubbergen als Winkelbediende geweest. En toen Hij 34 à 35 jaar Oud was,
heeft hij gedeeltelijk de plaats van Oude mensinkdieks gekocht, te weten het woonhuis, met oude schuur, en tuin aan de weg, als mede de grond waar thans het Meestershuis en de school op staat als ook het roggeland waar later mijn Broer Gerhard een gedeelte van kocht tot huisplaats, erf en tuin, als ook de Weide welke tusschen de weide van Mensman en die van Hamer licht. Terzelfde Tijd kocht Oude mensinkdieks de plaats van Smits getjan.
N.B. Toen de Familie Nobbenhuis hun erve verkocht hadden, gingen ze wonen op de plaats v/d Scholte die naar Amerika was verhuisd. Dit was de boerenplaats waar thans de Paus woont aan de Vriezenveensche Weg. De familie van Smits getjan is later uit elkaar gegaan, ik meen twee dochters en twee broers. Zij zijn thans misschien overleden. De derde zoon Gerhard Nobbenhuis is later bij Nijkamp in Harbrinkhoek gehuwd.

(In 1881 dus met zijn gezin vertrokken naar Vrienzenveenseweg 109. De scholte die naar Amerika is vertrokken betreft Johannes Hendrikus Oude Everink met zijn vrouw Geertruida Wolberink)
