Zij was de jongste dochter van Schollink Bats: Ziene regeerde bij Stam. Stam behoefde maar ja te zeggen. Ik moet tot heden zederd zes jaar voor het bouwen van ’n schuur voor Stam nog ongeveer f 200,00 hebben, maar Ziene heeft Stam niet opgedragen om ja te zeggen, zoodat ik het bedrag kon krijgen wat mij toe kwam. Wat of nu Stam zal doen? Het klaar hoe zich de zaak heeft afgespeeld is te omvangrijk dit te beschrijven doch volgens de moraal: zijn zij moreel verplicht mij dit bedrag te betalen: v/d meer dan vijftig jaar dat ik Timmerm: of, en aannemer ben, is mij, of ben ik nog nimmer zoo bejegend als van deze lui. Ziene is vrij plotseling overleden (na enige dagen zonder bewustzijn).
