Marinus Driehuijs, barbier, spoorwegarbeider, tramgeleider (1926), geboren op 02 12 1875 om 16.00 uur te Utrecht, geboren onder Catharijne L33; kwam uit Arnhem op 8/12/1897 naar Amsterdam en was toen kapper, vertrok op 28/12/1898 naar Utrecht; loopbaan bij de N.S.: begonnen in 1902 als hulpwachter voor fl.1,=per
dag; in 1903 bevorderd tot hulparbeider voor fl. 1,20 p.d., in1906 in vaste dienst als arbeider voor fl. 1,35 p.d.; op 13 mei 1906 bevorderd tot arb. remmer voor fl. 1,45 p.d. te Amsterdam. De volgende promotie was op 19 mei 1920 tot hoofdgeleider voor fl. 3,35 p.d. Op 1/1/1921 was het jaarsalaris fl. 1849,12, oplopend tot fl. 2000,= in1926. In 1933 ging hij minder verdienen en op 2 nov. 1934 kreeg hij eervol ontslag wegens invalditeit, zoon van Jan Driehuijs en Anna Maria den Bender.

Gehuwd op 27 jarige leeftijd op 05 06 1903 te Echtgenote is Helena Johanna Knufman, 32 jaar oud, naaister (1895), geboren op 10 04 1871 te Beuningen, dochter van J. Knufman (ovl) en Johanna Elisabeth Bleij. Zij woonden te Utrecht vanaf 12/09/1903 in de Jufferenstraat 14, daarna 1e Daalschedijk 72 en Vleutenscheweg 18bis en op 21/05/1906 zijn zij naar Amsterdam vertrokken, om op 20/05/1914 tot 03/12/1914 naar Watergraafsmeer te verhuizen, weer terug in Amsterdam en op19/09/1934 naar Haarlemmermeer/Zwanenburg verhuisd. Op gezinskaart Amsterdam kijken waar zij gehuwd zijn.
