Frank (Francq) van Ammers, geb. Zuilen 20 maart 1757118, werd op 22 aug. 1779 lidmaat te Beets met attestatie van Wilnis119
Frank van Ammers werd provisioneel tot schoolmeester van Beets aangesteld in plaats van Abraham Focker, in verband met diens schorsing en later ontslag wegens ruzie met de Beetser
predikant Johannes Scholte (zie schoonvader Claas). Het is dan ook de vraag hoe objektief de volgende kwalifikatie van de hand van zijn voorganger was: 'Frank van Ammers, provisioneele schoolmr etc., die geheel een dienaar is van magistraat en kerkeraad, enz.', Frank van Ammers bleef
tot aan zijn dood in 1824 in dienst als schoolmeester.
De memories van aangifte van de nalatenschappen van Frank van Ammers en Geertje Schardam werden tegelijk ingediend. Erfgenamen waren hun zoons, Mels van Ammers, onderwijzer te Westerblokker, Klaas van Ammers, eigenaar te Medemblik, Enoch van Ammers, landman te Beets, Jan van Ammers, veeman onder Scharwoude, en Johannes van Ammers, meester-timmerman te Beets. Tot de nalatenschap behoorden de volgende onroerende goederen: een huis, erf en grond te Beets, no. 32, ruim 1 bunder grasland in de Beetskoog, ruim 2 bunder grasland te Beets, genaamd 'de Knuppel', en ruim 1 bunder grasland te Beets, genaamd 'het Padstuk'.121
