Notes about Cornelis Sijmonsz Wit


Op 4-12-1733 compareerde voor weesmeesteren van Barsingerhorn Lijsbeth Gerrits de Boer, weduwe van Jacob Breet, overleden alhier op de Horn, als moeder over Claes Jacobsz. Breet. Met haar zijn als voogden aanwezig Cornelis Breet uit de Moerbeek en Aldert Gerritsz. de Boer, in de Boome onder Niedorp woonachtig.

Op 4-12-1748 verklaart Claas Breet zijn vaders bewijs te hebben ontvangen. Dat moet ook zijn moeders erfdeel zijn geweest want op 9-5-1741 compareerde Cornelis Wit voor weesmeesteren als weduwnaar van Lijsbeth de Boer met Cornelis Breet en Aldert de Boer. Claas krijgt zijn moederserf en het al eerder omschreven vader deel. Het blijft onder berusting van Cornelis Wit.

1-2-1743 compareerde aan de weesboeke van Barsingerhom den Edele Cornelis Simonsz.Wit, wonende alhier op de Horn, als vader van Sijmon en Pieter Cornelisz. Wit, geteeld bij zijn overleden huisvrouw Lijsbeth Gerrits de Boer. Als voogden waren tevens aanwezig Aldert Gerritsz. de Boer, oom van moederszijde en Arien Sijmonsz. Wit, oom van vaderszijde, wonende in de Schagerwaard. Er word overeengekomen dat Cornelis in het bezit blijft van de bezittingen, hij zal de kinderen verder opvoeden, ze laten leren, zowel lezen en schrijven als een vak. Zodra zij 20 zijn of eerder getrouwd ontvangen zij als moedersdeel F. 50. Onder het stuk staat dat op 21-10-1766 is door Comelis Wit het bovenstaande bewijs voldaan.

14-3-1755 compareerde opnieuw Cornelis voor de weesmeesters, nu als weduwnaar van Jannetje Gerrits, overleden op de Horn onder Barsingerhorn. Met hem zijn Gerrit Boon en Jan Boon, voogden over Jan Boon, geteeld bij Jannetje Gerrits. Zij regelen het kindsdeel voor Jan Boon. Op 8-11-1759 bekend Jan zijn kindsdeel te hebben ontvangen.

Op 15-11-1759 is Cornelis er weer,nu tesamen met zijn broer Jacob Wit, wonende op Hogebieren en Jan Boon, wonende onder Schagen. Hij stelt nu vast het kindsdeel van Louris. Deze verklaart op 27-2-1773 het deel ontvangen te hebben en geheel tevreden te zijn.

Op 18-4-1775, des namiddags de klok omtrent twee uren, maakt de eersame Cornelis Sijmonsz. Wit, ziek te bedde liggende, zijn testament. Hij verklaard tot zijn enige erfgenamen te institueeren sijne drie kinderen met name Sijmon, Pieter en Louris Cornelisz, Wit. Simon en Pieter krijgen ieder F. 2000 en Louris de rest, d. w. z. huis en hof, vee, geld en goud, niets ter wereld uitgezonderd.
