Notes about Maria Aleida (Aaltje) Zomer

Op 8 maart 1911 verdelen de erfgenamen van vader Lambertus Zoome zijn bezit. Zoon Hinderikus Zoomer erft de boerderij (bron RHC GrA 120-63-3827). Hij laat de boerderij opknappen en trouwt twee maanden later met Maria Engelina Musters.

Omdat het huwelijk wel al in de Burgerlijke Stand is bijgeschreven is Maria Engelina Musters mede-eigenaar van het bezit van Hindericus Zomer. De onroerende goederen minus de hypotheek op de goederen hebben een postief saldo van ƒ1500. Maria wordt uitgekocht en haar schoonzus Maria Alida Zomer neemt de boerderij over (bron RHC GrA 2207-6596-29). Enkele weken later trouwt Maria Alida Zomer met Gerrit Zomer en nemen ze samen hun intrek in de boerderij.  Gerrit is voor zijn huwelijk enkele keren in aanraking geweest met justitie. Op 26 februari 1906 weigert hij om de “besloten herberg” van Hermannus Slosser op diens verzoek te verlaten. Gerrit komt er met een geldboete van ƒ10 goed van af. Zijn maatje Hendrik Zomer bedreigt de eigenaar met een mes en krijgt een gevangenisstraf van acht weken opgelegd (bron: RHC GrA 882-473-rol151). Op Nieuwjaarsdag 1910 pleegt Gerrit een tweede strafbaar feit. Hij is op bezoek bij Geert Sandker op de Horsten. Daar krijgt hij ruzie met Bernard Wubbels waarna Gerrit naar buiten gaat. Hij daagt Wubbels uit omdat ook maar te doen. Als die dat doet valt Gerrit hem met een mes aan. Wubbels raakt daarbij gewond aan zijn arm. Bij de rechtszaak eist het OM een straf van zes maanden. De rechter maakt er vier maanden van (bron: RHC GrA 882-494 rol 67).  Gerrit heeft geen lang huwelijk gehad; hij overlijdt in 1918. Op 31 mei 1924 hertrouwt dan weduwe, Maria Alida Zomer, met Johannes Henricus Schutte; ze verhuist naar Musselweg 13. Samen krijgen ze daar nog drie kinderen. Eén dag voor het huwelijk van moeder Maria Alida Zomer met Johannes Henricus Schutte wordt het gezamenlijk bezit van haar en Gerrit Zomer vastgesteld. De roerende goederen hebben een waarde van ƒ1250. Het onroerend goed wordt genoemd, maar hiervan is geen waarde bepaald. Het beheer over de goederen blijft aan Maria Alida Zomer (bron: RHC GrA 119-179-7002).
