2 Broers Brunen trouwen met een dochter van Tecla Scholte en Georg Kruse.
De dochters dragen de familie-naam Scholte, omdat Tecla en Georg niet zijn getrouwd. Want Georg Krüse uit Neu Sustrum is in 1870 naar Nederland gevlucht na desertie uit het Duitse leger. Hij kreeg kennis met Tecla Scholte uit Roelage. Een wettelijk huwelijk was niet mogelijk, omdat hij niet over de vereiste papieren beschikte.
Hun dochter Maria Gesina*1880 trouwt met Gerhard Heinrich Brunen.
Hun dochter Grietje Maria*1892 trouwt met Johann Hermann Brunen
Een 3e broer nl. Johann Bernard Brunen trouwt met Anna Angela Scholte*1859. Anna is een dochter van Scholte - Nieters.
