heer van Asperen, Hoog- en Aartswoude (door Anna van der Noot aangebracht), geh. met Cornelia van der Mijle, waaruit verscheidene dochters, en een zoon, Philip Jacob, overl. in 1686, heer van Raephorst (geërfd van zijn moeders moeder Agatha van Raephorst, vrouwe van Raephorst), die uit zijn huwelijk met Jacoba Margaretha van Hardenbroek geene kinderen naliet;

Hij was heer van Asperen, Hoogwoud, Aartswoud en Raaphorst.

Hij was zeer prinsgezind en in augustus 1672 werd hij voorzitter van de Gecommitteerde Raden. Hij was het, die aan ritmeester Tilly die op 20.8.1672 belast was met de beveiliging van de Gevangenpoort te 's-Gravenhage, waar zich de gebroeders De Wit bevonden, het bevel gaf zich terug te trekken, waardoor het gepeupel de handen vrij kreeg om de gebroeders De Wit te vermoorden.
