Arnoldus (Nölleke) van Hoek (1801-1871), alias Nölleke de jager, was jachtopziener bij baron De Smeth.

Hij was het vijfde kind uit een gezin van acht kinderen van schoenmaker Petrus van Hoeck (1764-1813) en Clasina Kroon (1766-1838).

Nölleke huwde op 18 mei 1833 in Deurne met Catharina Meulendijcks, (Deurne 24 januari 1810 - Deurne 13 december 1863), dochter van Arnoldus Meulendijks (1776-1845) en Joanna Maria van der Sande (1776-1826). Bij haar huwelijk werd de geboorteakte van haar oudste zus en naamgenote Catharina overlegd.

Uit het huwelijk van Nölleke en Catharina werden acht kinderen geboren;

Pieter, (Deurne 8 april 1834 - Deurne 2 oktober 1901). Zoeaaf. Hij bleef ongehuwd.
Joanna Maria, (Deurne 5 december 1835 - Deurne 13 december 1872). Zij huwde met Hendricus Vlemmings (1844-1919).
Francis (Ciske de jager), (Deurne 29 januari 1838 - Deurne 13 februari 1910). Hij huwde met Francina Berkers (1837-1875).
Johanna, (Deurne 18 december 1840 - Deurne 18 maart 1905). Zij huwde met Hendrik van der Zanden (1833-1900).
Antonie, (Deurne 22 februari 1844 - Deurne 28 februari 1915). Hij huwde met Antonetta Nooijen (1841-1920).
