Beroep: kastelein in Termunten, woonde hier nog in 1796. Volgens Genealogie Glas, door Jacob Boerema met een verwijzing naar R.Vos in zijn boek "In oirconde de waerheyt" was hij eerder deurwaarder in Wagenborgen.

Wagenborgen 23 april 1782: Jan Derks Glas, van Schildwolde, namens zijn vader Derk Reinders en stiefmoeder, Aaltjen Jans, van Schildwolde, leent aan Jan Eltjes Vos en Vrouke Jans ehel. van Wagenborgen, 225 gld. tegen 4% rente. Getuigen: Pieter Roelfs en Albert Heres, beiden van Veendam.
