Historie van de Witte Klok.
In de panden Ds. Schuilingstraat 2 en 4 van Albadaweg 1 te Oudebildtzijl is 't BKI gehuisvest.
Al deze panden hebben een rijke historie.

Wij nemen u mee op een reis door de tijd.

In 1902 werd de zaak verbouwd, toen de Vries er al kastelein was. De tekeningen hiervan zijn bewaard gebleven.

De verbouwing hield in dat er een schut werd geplaatst; dit als scheiding tussen de tapperij en de nieuw in te richten winkel. Maar eerst moest de bovengevel worden gerenoveerd, omdat deze volgens gemeentearchitect Winter in een bouwvallige staat verkeerde.

Dan volgen de eigenaren elkaar in een rap tempo op:

¥ 1910: Johannes van Dam
¥ 1911: Albert Jans Faber
¥ 1912: Roelof Romkes Wijmenga
¥ 1912: Sjouke Lep.
Deze laatste is tot 1915 logementhouder, in dat jaar wordt het logement in twee gedeelten verkocht, het oostelijke deel (de winkel) aan Ype Sipma en het westelijke deel aan Cornelis Pieters Zijlstra.
