Gedoopt 20 Febrarij 1752, Engeltje, onegte dochter van Engelijn van de Wal, en (na haar seggen) van Hendrik van Clodewijk, wonende alhier, en is van haar self ten doop gehouden, na dat sij in het openbaar voor de gantsche gemeente beleden had dat sij sig ten derdenmaal in snoode hoererij en onkuijsheijt vergrepen had, sig den schrickelijken toorn van een God van hemel en aarde op den hals gehaalt, de gemeinte Gods op een vreeselijke wijze geergert had, met belofte van sig int vervolg van die snoode sonde (in afhanging van de wederhoudende genade van God) te sullen wagten. En is deselve tot boete en bekeering opgewekt van den predicant, om soo versoening te vinden in het aangesigt van den soon van sijn liefde.
