Daarna rentenier te Franeker, tot het overlijden van beppe. Woonde daarna te Uithoorn bij omke Willem;1965 te Leeuwarden; daarna nog te Minnertsga met een vroegere verloofde, Aafke Y. de Boer. Na haar overlijden te Menaldum, in Orxmastate. Overleden in verpleeghuis Berlingahiem te Berlikum
