Notes about Sake Katsma

In about 1888 Sake and Hendrikjw with Sybe, Attje, Klaas and Frouwkje went to Argentina. The reason for this emigration was unemployment, poverty and no job prospects. It was not a success story. Sake died in 1889. Hendrikje and her children returned to the Netherlands between 1896 and 1899 where she lived in the province of Kommerzijl in Groningen.
