Dear Sir/Madame

In my possession is a miniature (?) of an English lady who is a g?gmother of mine
The miniature is abt 5-6 inch and painted on copper
Left below, at the border, the miniature is signed CE or GE (see attachment)
The style of the portrait seems to fit the style of George Engleheart (1750?1829), only ? George seemed to have painted on ivory

Is anybody in your organisation able to compare the signature with signatures of George Engleheart on other miniatures?
