"De heer Hollenbach, die de leeftijd van 50 jaar bereikte, ving zijn loopbaan aan op het kantoor van het Blauwhoedenveen te Amsterdam. Op zijn drie en twintigste jaar kwam hij naar Indië, uitgezonden naar Java voor de Escomptomaatschappij. Vervolgens trad de heer Hollenbach in dienst van de firma Blom en van der Aa, eerst op Java, en na eenigen tijd te Medan, om daarna procuratiehouder te worden bij het Deli Havenbedrijf.

Van 1926 af was de heer Hollenbach werkzaam bij de Nillmij, aanvankelijk voor een korte periode als inspecteur op Java en daarna in dezelfde functie in Deli.

Sinds het vorige jaar trad hij op als agent op het bijkantoor voor Sumatra te Medan (16-sep-1938)"
