    Ome Wim en vader werden door de Duitse bezetters tot drie jaar gevangenisstraf veroordeeld en op transport gesteld in 1942 naar Kassel. Hier zaten zij onder andere in de Theodor-Fliederstrasze in wijk Wehlheiden. Overlijdensakte no. 841/45. Hij werd begraven te Kassel-Bettenhauzen Vak37.B. De stoffelijke resten zijn later naar Frankfurt overgebracht.

    Heden vijf februarie negentienhonderd zeven en veertig is door mij ambtenaar van de burgerlijkenstand der gemeente Naarden: ingeschrven een ontvangen uittreksel uit het overlijdensregister van Kassel, in Duitsland,waaruit blijkt, dat aldaar op drie Februarie negentiehonderd vijf en veertig te tien uur is overleden Vuijst, Willem, oud twee en veertig jaren, brandstoffenhanelaar, geboren te Naarden, echtgenoot van : Muller Lammigje, zoon van Vuijst, Gerrit, zonder beroep, wonende te Naarden, en van Wiegmink, Lammigje overleden.
