Notes about Hermannus Arnoldi Treccius


1607-1610. Hermannus Arnoldi Treccius, geb. te Rhenen of Rheen in het Munstersche, was hier reeds in dienst den 20 Aug. 1607; op de syn. den 5 Sept. 1608, waar hij niet tegenwoordig was, klaagde de classis van Emmen, dat hij "gecomen wesende ut het Pausdö ," zonder kennis der classis de dienst hier had aanvaard en de sacramenten bediend. De commissie, benoemd om dit nader te onderzoeken, schreef hem aan om op de syn. den 4 Sept. 1609 te Beilen te verschijnen: daaraan niet voldoende, werd hij toen wegens halstarrigheid en andere klagten over zijne dienst ontzet, tot dat hij aan het collegie voldoende verontschuldiging wegens zijne afwezigheid op de classic. en synod. vergaderingen en ook bewijs van zijn examen zou ingeleverd hebben; waaraan hij den 14 Sept. voldaan heeft. Hij vertrok naar Middelstum in Julij 1610, waar hij in hoogen ouderdom overl. in 1645 den 22 Mei (synod. lIandel.) den 23 Mei (classic. Handel.).
