Mr. Jacob(us) Junius, geb. 's-Gravenhage 1608/09, ovl./beg. Delft Oude Kerk 25/29-9-1671 (Jacob Junius in de Voorstraat bij Hoefijzersteeg), vermeld als kind met zijn vader, stiefmoeder en broers en zusters in het Hooftgelt van Katwijk (1622),[262] ingeschreven als student rechten aan de Universiteit van Leiden 16-7-1626 ("Jacobus Junius", Hagiensis, 17(jaar)"),[263] vertrekt voor 1642 naar Indië, oppercoopman bij de VOC in Pipelij (1642-1645) (Golf van Bengalen) en in Masulipatnam (1646-1652) (zuiden van de Coromandelkust),[264] [265] keert kennelijk tussen 1652 en 1657 terug uit Indië, bij huwelijk afkomstig van Haerlem, oud 36 jaar (sic!), wonend te Delft op de Oude Delft (1657), {(NB volgens Ref. [266] en Ref. [267] is hij geb. (3)-2-1619)) reder te Delft (1659), is op 8-1-1667 regent aan het Oude en Nieuwe Gasthuis te Delft, woont op de Oude Delft (1657, 1659), in de Voorstraat bij Hoefijzersteeg (1671), zn. van Ds. Isaac Fransz Junius, geref. predikant te Warmond, Haarlem, Katwijk aan de Rijn, en Delft, en van diens eerste vrouw Maria Cornelisdr Duyck(ers)
