Notes about Keimpe Doeckes van Martena
In 1508 studeerde Keimpe in Orleans letteren en mogelijk rechten.In 1515 werd hij door Karel V tot Raad aan het hof van Friesland benoemd. Hij werd door stadhouder Floris van Egmond tot ridder geslagen.In 1521 woonde hij de rijksdag in Worms b ij.(charterboek 2, blz 413)
Hij woonde in Cornjum en Leeuwarden.
Op 10-6-1503 als student te Orleans, in 1507 te Leuven, in 1508 studeerde hij letteren in Orlâ©ans en vermoedelijk ook rechten en in 1511 als student te Bologna.
In 1515 bij de heerschappen, die Karel V huldigen, als Heer Kempo Martena (Thabor) en als Kempo Doctor Martena (Winsemius).
Keimpe was raadsheer bij het Hof van Friesland 1515/1538 en wordt in 1517 genoemd als grietman van Tietjerksteradeel.
Dr.Kempo van Martena testeerde op 3-5-1538 (F.T.144).
Hij had ook een buitenechtelijke dochter Anna;zij trouwde omstreeks 1530 met Sjoerd Wopckes uit Garijp.
Hun kinderen noemen zich Wiarda en de moeder van Anna kwam misschien uit die familie. Zie GJB 1991-114,125 e.v.
Keimpe's 2e vrouw Luts van Harinxma (volgens aant.F.T.144) heb ik niet kunnen traceren.
