Geertrui Voorhaar en Cornelis Johannes de Weerd zorgen voor een in de stamboom Voorhaar ongekende situatie (althans voorzover aan mij bekend - jv). Zij trouwen twee keer met elkaar. Eerst in 1923. Dat huwelijk eindigt in 1931 door echtscheiding. In 1932 trouwen zij opnieuw met elkaar. In de akte van het tweede huwelijk staat dit ook impliciet vermeld.

Cornelis Johannes de Weerd is op 16 maart 1943 bij een ongeluk om het leven gekomen. Dit op de onbewaakte spoorwegovergang aan de Huidecooperweg in Hilversum. Hij wilde op de fiets de overweg passeren toen hij werd gegrepen door de elektrische trein die om 14.25 uur uit Hilversum naar Utrecht was vertrokken. Hij werd tegen de grond gesmakt en raakte zo zwaar gewond dat hij ter plekke overleed. Zijn fiets werd 40 meter meegesleurd.
