Pieter Boers komt drie keer voor in politie-meldingsrapporten 1940-1945 in het Stadsarchief Amsterdam:
- op 31 oktober 1941 doet hij, namens S.I. de Vries (naar ik aannneem zijn werkgever - jv) aangifte van het ontvreemden van een vierwielige mandwagen met ijzeren onderstel en rubberen banden. Dit is gebeurd op 28 oktober tussen 2 en 3 uur 's middags voor het perceel Warmoesstraat 261 (het adres van De Vries - jv). Pieter Boers is dan emballeur van beroep en woont Lindengracht 278 III.
- op 1 september 1941 om 23.15 uur wordt hij samen met zijn vrouw, Martina Gerardina Wingelaar, in het bureau gebracht. Dit omdat zij zich tussen 23 en 4 uur op de Meeuwenlaan in de open lucht hebben opgehouden. Zij moeten tot 4 uur (het einde van de spertijd - jv) op het bureau bllijven.
- op 5 november 1943 wordt hij om 13.05 uur met 10 andere personen vanaf het Kadijksplein opgebracht vanwege het zich in de open lucht bevinden tijdens luchtalarm. Pieter Boers is dan emballeur van beroep en woont Nieuwendijk 50 hs.

Op 12 maart 1945 wordt Pieter Boers in het kader van de Arbeitseinsatz te werk gesteld bij Bau in Meppel. Dit blijkt uit een document van het Gewestelijk Arbeidsbureau. Op het document staat een stempel dat hij dit vrijwilllig doet.
