Woonde te Schettens op " Bruindijk". Diaken in 1706 en ouderling in 1719. Was in 1695 gebruiker van kerckelanden waarvoor hij 28 car. guldens betaalde. Verhuisde voor 1718 naar de boerderij naast de kerk. Werd 22 juni 1710 tot kerkvoogd benoemd. en 26 december 1711 tot administrerend kerkvoogd. Was ontvanger in 1724 en 1726. In 1749 was zijn weduwe' gering boer" te Schettens met een inkomen van 500 gulden.
