    CATHARINA KAREL werd meestal gewoon TRIJNTJE genoemd. Zij was een dochter van Willem Jansen Karel (1824-1900) en van Jacobje Alberts de Boer (1829-1893). Haar ouders woonden op Emmeloord, huisnummer 41A. Haar vader was visser, koopman en arbeider.

    TRIJNTJE was bijna 7 jaar toen zij met haar ouders op 1-6-1859 van Schokland naar de Visschersstraat in Vollenhove verhuisde. Het jaar daarop woonden zij op de Vischmarkt. Op 13-7-1862 is het gezin van Vollenhove naar Kampen verhuisd, waar zij in Brunnepe kwamen te wonen.

    Toen TRIJNTJE opgroeide, werd zij dienstbode voor dag en nacht. Dat was zij o.a. in de Morrensteeg, Over de Brug, in Brunnepe, op de Oudestraat, Achter de Nieuwe Muur, in de Karpersteeg en de Schapensteeg.

Op 17-7-1873 trouwde CATHARINA (TRIJNTJE) KAREL in Kampen met de sigarenmaker HERMANUS LEMMERMAN, die later ook nog stadsomroeper was. Hermanus werd geboren op 9-6-1848 in Kampen. Zijn ouders waren Lodewijk Lemmerman (1804-1849) en Maria Herbes.

TRIJNTJE KAREL en haar man HERMANUS LEMMERMAN woonden na hun huwelijk in de wijk Brunnepe te Kampen. Beiden zijn in Kampen gestorven: hij op 2-3-1918 en zij op 9-2-1933.
Hun kinderen:
- Lodewijk Lemmerman (1880-1955), gehuwd met Aleida Maria Jongsma (1886-1915).
- Wilhelmus Karel Lemmerman (1892-1969), gehuwd met Geertruida Smit (1893-1987).
- Christina Lemmerman (1895-1953), gehuwd met Levinus Huijs.
