Het gezin verhuisde rond 1913 naar Ermelo, waar zij in de Kerklaan 6 woonden. Hier stierf Friedrich, slechts 30 jaar oud. Op 18 november 1952 verhuisde Martha naar de Rietlaan 38, om vervolgens eind april 1954 naar de Boslaan 26 in Bussum te verkassen, alwaar zij tot op hoge leeftijd mooi woonde.
