    St. Jans kerkhof
    Overledene was een jongedochter

    Dit kerkhof werd tijdens de pestepidemie in 1635 in gebruik genomen. In dat jaar ontving het de naam Sint Maartenskerkhof. De naam Sint Janskerkhof treft men in 1647 aan. Wat de aanleiding was om de namen van deze heiligen aan dit kerkhof te geven,kon niet worden achterhaald. In de tweede helft van de 19de eeuw werd over het terrein van het voormalige kerkhof een straat aangelegd, die de naam Sint-Janstraat ontving. De straat liep van de Hoogstraat naar de Goudsesingel. Bij het bombardementin mei 1940 is deze straat verdwenen.
