Over het eerste huwelijk van EVERT is, afgezien van het doopsel van zoon Jan, niets bekend.

Tot de jaren 40 wordt EVERT enkele malen genoemd als doopheffer van de kinderen van zijn broer, vervolgens trouwt hij opnieuw rond 1640 en vindt er met regelmaat gezinsuitbreiding plaats.

In 1643 komt EVERT voor het eerst voor bij een transactie. De aankoop van 'een moervelt in alder grooten ende toebehoorten gelegen binnen deser baronie van Boxtele inden gehuchte van Muntsel'

EVERT wordt genoemd in het testament van zijn moeder in 1655 (1) en vervolgens bij de erfdeling in 1661. Hij erft daarbij in Onrode (2):

- Item een koeijweij, gelegen in de Beucoms, ...

Onder laste van hier uijt te vergelden drije stuijvers twee ort chijns aen den heere van Boxtel, ende sal dit loth moeten genieten van sijnen swaeger de somme van vijffentwintich guldens eens.'
