Notes about Hendrik Visser

Henk zat bij het Nederlandse leger als sergeant-administrateur.
Tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog was hij in dienst van de Nederlandse federale politie en in 1945 werd hij overgeplaatst naar de Binnenlandse Veiligheidsdienst van Nederland, waar hij plaatsvervangend hoofd documentatie en administratie was.
In 1952 emigreerden hij en zijn vrouw en dochter naar Canada, waar hij in dienst was van Bethlehem Mines Corporation, Marmora, Ontario.
Later werd hij havenbaas in Picton, Ontario en in 1966 werd hij overgeplaatst naar Bethlehem Mines Corporation, Cornwall, Pa. Als vertegenwoordiger van het management.
In 1974 werd hij overgeplaatst naar Bethlehem Mines Corporation, kolenafdeling, Bethlehem, waar hij een vertegenwoordiger van het senior management en senior supervisor industriële betrekkingen werd van alle eigendommen van kolenmijnen.
Hij ging in 1982 met pensioen uit Bethlehem Steel na 30 jaar dienst.
Hij diende als vrijwilliger bij de Visiting Nurses Association of Bethlehem, van 1983-1994.
