Het is in ieder geval een plaats in Oost-Friesland. Neeltje en Jan krijgen 6 kinderen: Hermanus Hermanus (1708- ), Hermannus Hermens (1709- ), Lijzbeth Harmenz (1711- ), Anna Hermens (1713- ), Anna Hermens (1715- ) en Hermanus Hermenze (1718- ). Jan leeft nog op 25 september 1718, de dag waarop zijn jongste zoon is gedoopt. Neeltje leeft nog op 5 januari 1721. Zij is de dag getuige bij de doop van haar neef Jan Koppelar.
