Huwelijksafkondiging was op 28 december 1686 te Amsterdam. Opmerkelijk was dat tien kinderen van dit echtpaar volwassen werd. Een onbekend kind werd begraven in 1711.

Notes about Jan Fredricksz VERLOOP


Website van Cees Smits vermeld dat Jan Fredricksz (Fredricx) Verloop afkomstig was uit ìVenloî (in de Amsterdamse poortersboeken), geboorteplaats onleesbaar, maar dat moet m.i. ìVurenî zijn i.p.v. Venlo.
Bij het overlijden van zijn eerste vrouw (Maritje Melisse Rijcke) in oktober 1685 was hij timmerman. Hij was huistimmerman en poorter te Amsterdam, met ingang van 6 februari 1687. In krantenartikelen (Amsterdamse Courant) in 1727 werd hij genoemd Jan Verloop, in de Stads Timmertuyn. In 1726 was hij Stads Timmerman bij een bouwproject. Uit zijn handtekening bij zijn ondertrouw in 1686 blijkt dat hij wel kon schrijven.

Jan Fredricksz (JF) was wel zeker de zoon van Fredrick Jansz (FJ) en Aaltje Jacobs (AJ) omdat 1) JF tweemaal een dochter Altie/Alida noemde, dus vernoemd naar de grootmoeder AJ en 2) doopgetuige bij Alida in 1694 was Jacobus Fredricksz Verloop ...... dus de broer van JF en zoon van FJ and AJ. De familie JF was dus al naar Amsterdam verhuisd (en zij waren timmermannen, in de goede traditie van de Verloop-en), terwijl Jacobus Fredricksz in de Betuwe (Vuren) verbleef (hij was de vader van Jan, de bekende molenbouwer aldaar).

Een ongenoemd kind van Jan en zijn tweede vrouw Maria werd te Amsterdam begraven op 10-10-1711. Opmerkelijk is dat kennelijk tien van hun kinderen tenminste de leeftijd van 40 jaar haalden. Jan overleed in de Stads Timmertuijn en werd begraven in/uit de Nieuwe Kerk/Engelse Kerk.
