Volgens zijn kinderen is hij groot gebracht door zijn grootouders Pickhard/Schonewille. Op 27-5-1922 komt hij samen met zijn moeder en broer Rense vanuit Amsterdam in Zandvoort wonen. Alle drie op een ander adres; hij in de Oosterparkstraat 48. Op 25-9-1922 vertrekt hij weer naar Amsterdam, Balistraat 61 II en op 18-1-1923 is hij weer terug in de Oosterparkstraat te Zandvoort. Samen met zijn moeder en broer verhuist hij op 8-6-1924 naar het Wilhelminaplein 15 te Heemstede om een paar maanden later op 24-12-1924 met hen naar Noordwijkerhout, Zilkerweg te vertrekken. Hij verhuist op 10-12-1928 naar de Hofstraat 29 in Hillegom. Blijkbaar is hij weer terug gegaan naar Heemstede want op 27-8-1930 komt hij weer vanuit Heemstede, Molenwerfslaan 32, naar Noordwijkerhout, Zilkerduinweg 139. Zijn vrouw Margje Zwiers komt daar op 7-10-1930 ook wonen, zij komt van de Hendrik de Keijzerlaan 10 te Heemstede. Op 30-6-1931 gaat hij samen met haar weer naar Heemstede, Lombokstraat 12. Zij verhuizen op 2-9-1931 naar de Oosterlaan en op 1-10-1931 naar de Koediefslaan. Broer Jan Wiebes komt daar bij hen wonen. Het gezin blijft op dat adres wonen.
