In leven leeraar aan het St. Ignatius-College te Amsterdam, geboren te Tilburg 26 Aug. 1887, na een smartelijke ziekte overleden te Berlijn 22 Nov. 1938 en begraven op het R.K. Kerkhof St. Joseph te Tilburg.

De schat van zijn schoon en gaaf Geloof bewaarde hij met groote zorg, en daarom was ook het vertrouwen op God de groote kracht van zijn leven. Gij allen, die hem kende en lief hadt, beoefent, wat gij van hem leerde en ontvingt, wat gij hoorde en zaagt in hem, en de God van vrede zal U bij blijven. (Phil. 4.9) Wij blijven hem gedenken, omdat wij hem zoozeer liefhadden, want dit nu GŠ???????????idat hij van ons heenging????iGŠ??????? is het eerste leed, wat hij ons heeft aangedaan. Zijn dood is een verlies voor ons, vooral voor echtgenoote en kinderen????iGŠ???????????ivoor hemzelf een gewin, naar wij vast gelooven en vertrouwen. Want hij beschouwde de dood niet als een einde, maar als de moeilijke inzet voor een veel beter leven, waarin God dit sterfelijke verandert. Lieve kinderen wees nu dubbel goed voor moeder, en bidt voor Vader, dat hij te eerder van uit den Hemel, langs den bovennatuurlijken weg van Gods Genade, over U wake en U geleide.
