    Verkreeg het erf door zijn huwelijk met Hendrikje Zandboer.

    In 1776 wordt er een akte van overdracht getekend door Albert Sandboer voor 2 akkers en de woning aan Gerrit Schipper.

    Bij de volkstelling van 1795 bestond het gezin uit 4 personen, waaronder de zuster van Hendrikje Sandboer genaamd Geertien, zij doet de aangifte bij de volkstelling van de gezinssamenstelling.

    Het andere gezinslid zal, naast de ouders Gerrit Schipper en Hendrikje Sandboer, de zoon Derk Schipper zijn geweest.

    Op de intekenlijst uit 1801 van bijdragen voor de verbouwing van de "gereformeerde kerk" (=NH-kerk) te Vriezenveen staat Gerrit genoemd met een bijdrage van 25 gulden en "Geertjen Zandboer" gaf 5 gulden, hele bedragen voor die tijd (archief N.H. Kerk Vriezenveen).

    06-11-1773 schuldverklaring van Henricus Berentsen en Jenneken Willems Schipper voor de som van 200 gulden á 3 % rente aan Gerrit Derks Schipper (bron: archief schoutambt Vriezenveen inv. nr. 2677).

    In 1776 regelt schoonvader Albert Santboer de overdracht van huis en twee akkers land aan schoonzoon Gerrit Schipper met het beding dat de andere kinderen, zolang zij ongetrouwd zijn een slaapplaats op het ouderlijk erf blijven houden en ook moet Gerrit hen 700 gulden uit de boedel betalen.

    Gerrit en zijn vrouw Hendrikje lenen op 16-5-1790 aan Hendrik Letteboer en Hendrikjen Bramer 70 gulden à 3% rente.

    Op 11-8-1800 verstrekt het echtpaar een lening van 1.000 gulden aan Zwier Lammers en Aaltje Steevens tegen 4% rente (bron: familiearchief Schipper).
